The Committee on Human Rights, National Minorities and International Relations recommends that the Parliament forwards the Bill "On the Concept of the State Ethnonational Policy of Ukraine" for further Drafting

The Bill (Reg. No.3581) ratifies the Concept of the State Ethnonational Policy that defines the goals, principles, tasks of the State ethnonational policy, areas and mechanisms of its implementation.

However, the Committee members stated that the Bill failed to include the Chapter "Basic Terms and Definitions" to determine the conceptual-terminological basis, which constitutes the main drawback of the Bill.

The Bill also fails to reflect a number of other key phenomena appertaining to the development of ethnonational relations in Ukraine.
